Occupational therapy for teenagers and young adults on Sydney's Northern Beaches
Whether you're a young person ready to build independence, or a parent trying to figure out how to help — you're in the right place.
FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 15-25
You're ready to do more.
We're here to help you get there.
Maybe you want to catch the bus independently. Learn to cook. Stay on top of your responsibilities without it feeling like a constant battle. Or just feel more confident navigating everyday life.
Whatever your goals look like, our occupational therapists work with you — not at you. We start where you are, build skills at your pace, and focus on the things that actually matter to you.
FOR PARENTS AND CARERS
They're growing up. But they're not quite ready, and you're not sure how to bridge the gap.
It's one of the harder parts of parenting a young person with additional needs: knowing they need more support to become independent, but not always knowing how to give it without doing everything for them.
Our OTs work with young people aged 15–25 to build the real-world skills they need for adulthood: self-care, cooking, organisation, getting around the community, managing money, and more. Sessions happen in the clinic, out in the community, or at home, depending on what's most useful. Plus, you don't need a referral to get started with Occupational therapy for teenagers.
FOR NDIS PARTICIPANTS
NDIS funding can be used for OT support at OTHC Beyond
OTHC Beyond is a registered NDIS provider. If you or your young person has an NDIS plan, occupational therapy can typically be funded under Capacity Building — Daily Activities (Support Category 7).
OT can help NDIS participants build skills for daily living, community participation, and independence — goals that are directly aligned with most school leaver and young adult NDIS plans.
